I invite you to join me to the enchanted volcanic forestland of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala for a time of deeply healing yoga, meditation and ritual to surrender into the mystery and richness of our embodied existence.
This will be a mystical and creative journey of moving into intimacy and wonder with our experience, of reconnecting and rewilding our spirit.
LOCATION:
Lake Atitlán is really the most enchanted lake I have ever visited, and Yoga Forest is the most epic and soulful place nestled right up the mountain in the forest, and overlooking the whole lake and its surrounding volcanoes. It gives me tingles to imagine our time there together.
There's great hikes to do in the forest around the lake and to nearby waterfalls.
Guatemalans are also beautiful, colourful and friendly people.

Conscious Living in Community
The Yoga Forest models conscious living as a spiritual practice, offering a unique retreat space for self connection, connection to the Earth and personal growth.
Deep Green Yoga
It was founded as an exploration of deep green yoga, through a desire for living simply, greenly and in communion with everything surrounding us.
So this conscious and deep green off-the-grid experience means composting bathrooms, outdoor showers and naturally built cabañas without electricity. The communal spaces have electricity. Everything from the washrooms to the cabañas are so beautifully and elegantly built with epic views of the lake and the volcanic landscape, so I can assure you that you will appreciate them.
Daily Schedule:
Before breakfast there will be an epic morning practice including meditation, mantra, journalling, breath work and movement. This will be our big maha practice of the day.
The program of the afternoons/evenings will shift, and will typically involve other types of rituals and activities such as cacao ceremony, devotional singing (Kirtan), ecstatic dance, sound healing, shamanic journeying, etc.
You will enjoy two delicious vegetarian meals a day - a big wholesome brunch and dinner.
It will be a time to investigate what is truly alive at the depths of our being, to attune ourselves to the unseen and subtle frequencies of this mystery we experience as reality, to re-awaken our creative and awe-inspired selves,
and to weave ourselves back into the felt sense of the web of livingness and the primal natural world, leaving the neon lit pixilated digital vortex behind for a week…

2 locally sourced healthy vegetarian meals per day
Optional private retreat shuttle from the sweet town of Antigua (close to the airport) to the retreat on the morning of the 23rd and shuttle from Lake Atitlan to the airport on the 30th - (time frames in booking confirmation email). You can also easily and cheaply make your own way to and from the lake if you wish to extend your holiday there before and after our time together. More info on that in the welcome pack.
