The modern day concept of January 1st resolutions and jumpstart has never worked for me… We are still in the deep of winter, still in the hibernation of darkness with the longest nights of the year, and it is really premature to start the gestation of any seeds - plant- or metaphorical ones - as we are still in the potent liminal space of not knowing. But come February we will begin to noticeably experience a shift of lighter days and the eros of life quickening within the soil underneath our feet and within our earth body.

Our ancestors celebrated this time of year as the fire festival of Imbolc; the awakening of spring, new beginnings and fertility. And so this is a time to call forth our guides and visionary allies of the subtle realms, to get intimate with what is alive now in our deepest heart’s longing, to listen for what wants to emerge in our soul’s journey and to midwife our own rebirth out of deep winter.

Every archetype, idea and creative direction can be found within the space of potentiality inside - what unlived life will you summon forth and seduce into being for this next cycle? How can you live in courtship with the artistry of reality?

When we tenderize the tension around our heart and when we let the body speak from the depths of it’s own eros - what do we most deeply desire?

As we enter through the Imbolc portal of 2023, we will gather in the virtual zoom temple for an evening of ceremony, poetry, embodied prayer and ritual dance to release and evoke our deepest visioning for this next evolutionary cycle of enchantment and liberation.
